KCTCS - Elizabethtown

                 Okay Hannah, breathe in, breathe in, now out I reminded myself as my stride lengthened and I lapped up the black pavement. Oh my gosh was that, no I’m fine. Wait! There it was again, I felt it that time as my chest constricted and my routine breathing was rapidly halting. I stayed calm and pushed through it finishing my two mile run. Staying calm, yeah if only I had known that was the key a few weeks ago.

                 The rain drizzled lightly onto my windshield, as I instinctively turned on my windshield wipers. My mind turned over the events of what felt like an unusually stressful week. This girl night was exactly what I needed to cure that, I reassured myself as I headed over to my friends apartment. Two boxes of pizza and a few movies later, all four of us were laying in bed talking about how our week had gone. Suddenly I bolted upright; looking around it felt like someone had just thrown a ton of bricks onto my chest. As I paced back and forth, with my hand laid on my chest, as if to encourage it to keep beating, my mind raced through anything I had done that could’ve caused this. The more I found myself panicked the worst it got, but sitting down I was sure would be worse.  That’s when I decided to Google my problem, because everyone knows Google always has the answer. Oh, it provided answers but it was answers I didn’t want to hear such as I had some rare disease or a heart murmur. So I did
