The DVR is set, just in case!  I race around the house trying to get house work, school work, and baby ready for bed.  I keep my eyes on the clock; time seems to be standing still.  At last glimpse it’s finally nine o’clock.  I stop everything, jump onto the couch and take a deep breath and start to relax.  My shows on and everything around me seems to be fading out so I can focus on John and Kate plus eight; It might be a crazy life but it’s our life.

This show symbolizes the affects of having children and our everyday life, “It might be a crazy life but it’s our life”, Kate adds to the opening of the show.  As I watch the show and watch the kids grow over the years it’s almost as if I were a part of their family.  Having a child of my own I can say sometimes I to have a crazy life but it’s mine.

Just about the same time as the show began I was working two jobs just to make ends meet.  Two very long, exhausting years go by.  Hoping that very soon I would become full-time at one of these jobs I decide my time has come, to become a mother.  No time will ever be perfect so why put the important things in life on hold.  As to John and Kate they decide to try to have one more child and end up with six.

The day that I thought would never come knocked me down one night at work.  I was going full-time in a couple of weeks and I hadn’t been that excited in a long time.  I couldn’t wait to tell my fiancé and the rest of my family the great news.  We planned our wedding and decided we were ready to build a new house on top of that.  We put our current house up for sale, two weeks later we leave for our out of state wedding.  As soon as we arrive at our destination the real estate agent calls, we have a buyer.  Thank goodness for our week escape, with no worries, because as soon as we arrived back home we had to pack and find a new place to live.
